At the beginning of September, we adopted Bruno, a 2 year old standard dachshund, from The Red Foundation, who rehome daxies in need.
He is extremely friendly and loveable but he sometimes forgets his manners, as he is still young. Bruno is settling in well and starting to see Easter Garth as home. He is adorable.
Having lost our beloved Charlie (a black Labrador) 2 years ago, it is lovely to have a this wee fellow in our lives.
We are open, as usual, however, in these uncertain times, we are only opening 2 rooms. As you can imagine, our cleaning regime has been adapted to meet government guidelines and, although not required, we are trying to leave 72 hours between guests in each room. We have invested in a Dupray Neet steam cleaner, which we are using on soft furnishings and carpets and hard surfaces are cleaned using an anti-viral disinfectant.
When we receive your booking, we will send an email outlining the latest information regarding your stay.
We are open all year. If your chosen dates appear unavailable, please contact us and we will double check availability.
With great sadness, we have taken the decision to close until travel restrictions are lifted. As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for us financially, as it is for so many others. However, we feel it would be irresponsible to encourage others to travel under the present circumstances and fear that it could put our future guests, our family and our local community at risk.
If you have booked with us directly, would would like to offer you the opportunity to move dates and will happily do what we can to accommodate your requests. If you have booked via AirBnB or Booking.com, you will need to contact your online travel agent directly, as any monies paid are held with them; we do not receive any payments until after your stay.
We hope to be open again as soon as it is safe to do so and look forward to meeting all those who have bookings with us in the future.

We are closed this week whilst our hallway is undergoing a transformation. Below is a ‘before’ image; I will post an ‘after’ image later. We are currently crossing everything that the work is finished by Friday, as we are fully booked this weekend.
